Age: 25
Gender: Male
Home Town: West Blue, Turtle Island
Race: Human
Sexuality: Straight

Seiro Kain, Captain of the Ghost Ship FdMJ5kQ

Appearance: For all intents and purposes, Seiro looks dead. His eyes are sunken and tired all the time, his skin tone is consistently a deathly pale shade, and his hair is frazzled and thin. To top it all off, he is always dressed like he was about to attend a funeral, and he is tall and very thin. All of this adds together to make for a very skeletal and bizarre appearance.
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown
Skin Tone: Deathly Pale
Height: 6’2
Weight: 150 pounds
Tattoo: N/A

Seiro Kain, Captain of the Ghost Ship YLoLSiV

Personality: Seiro is known throughout the Marines for his extreme lack of motivation. Everything is a pain to him; if it were up to him, he would do absolutely nothing until the time to fight came. As a result, he has a tendency to gather enmity from people due to not ever putting effort into menial tasks and labor. Seiro could care less about how his compatriots view him; in his eyes, nothing matters other than his ultimate goal of exterminating the pirates.

As a Marine, Seiro utilizes every trick in the book to get away from his duties. He has feigned illness, called in favors, and even blackmailed subordinates once or twice to get his way. Even when he is made to do labor, he'll use his Devil Fruit powers (the Horo-Horo no Mi) instead, simply so he won't have to get up. He intends to prove himself through combat against the pirates; despite his lazy outward appearance, he gives his all in combat and has the hand-to-hand skill he picked up from his father.

Seiro’s hatred of pirates is the only thing he gets passionate about; it is beyond a desire and more like an obsession. He was raised in a family with two parents, a sister, and a grandmother, all of which got along. He learned the art of hand-to-hand combat from his father, a proud Marine, and followed in his footsteps. One day, however, pirates attacked Seiro's village; his father died in an attempt to defend their home. Just this would have been enough, but Seiro's mother and sister were killed as well, and his grandmother beaten to within an inch of her life. Due to this incident, he now despises any kind of lawbreakers, but pirates especially bear the brunt of his wrath. Seiro joined the Marines both to honor his father and to get revenge on the pirates who killed his family. When faced with a pirate, Seiro’s switch flips, and nothing can get in the way of his vengeance.

Seiro will gladly give his all against pirates and other lawbreakers, but his laziness still influences him. He greatly prefers to avoid a physical confrontation, instead using trickery and blackmail to keep his distance. When a fight is unavoidable, he will fight, but only as an absolute last resort. In a larger fight, he prefers to stay at the backline, letting others take the hits for him while he supports them.
Likes:
- Sweets; Seiro has an insatiable sweet tooth, and always has a few pieces on hand.
- Doing nothing
- Killing pirates
Dislikes:
- Bitter food and drink, particularly coffee
- Manual labor/busywork
- Hand to hand combat
Motivations:
- The extermination of all pirates, so nobody goes through the suffering Seiro did (the annihilation of his small village)
Fears:
- Being unable to stop the pirates from ransacking a town
- Being fired from the Marines, thus dishonoring his father
- Being imprisoned and unable to fulfill his vendetta

Now I like the slothful theme you have going, but perhaps you might want to write about how he could creatively weasel his way out of his duties. Otherwise it's highly unlikely he would get very far in the Marines (and he desires power through rank), it's certainly something they would seek to wipe out during his initial training. If he fears staying a peon, then how does he expect to rise in rank without doing anything?(you say he enjoys trickery, so I'd be curious how he's used it to keep his place within the Marines)
You say his occupation is fighter, but he prefers to avoid confrontation: this seems to be a bit counterproductive/paradoxical. You think you could either select a different occupation or rework his activities?
He seems to have little compassion for his comrades, perhaps you could give some sense of why he suffers them or what kind of relationship he has with them. Why did he choose to join the Navy for revenge? Why not just go off on a revenge-fuelled killing spree on his own?
His primary motivation is revenge on pirates, so give us a sense of what he lost, who he lost. Give me a sense of pity for him or sympathy having seen his bond with loved ones. So, flesh him out a bit with the emotions beneath his sloth and vengeance.

Since lucky has taken so many days to reply, Chaos asked me to look over this app.

I see nothing wrong and it seems like a solid character to me.

Approved~
