Name: Bakemono Owner: Daenys Seastar Type: Polearm – Axe Class: D Length: Eight Feet (96 Inches) Weight: 20 lbs Description: Bakemoto is a polearm with an axe head that is 96 inches in length from tip to tip and is typically wielded with some distance available at both ends of the weapon. The weapons' shaft has a purple hue to the metal; near the base of this is an ornamental snake that extends from the spear-point at the base of the spear up and about 10 inches up the shaft of the weapon. The area of purple colored metals extends another couple of feet, roughly, before reaching a normal steel region that is not colored, it is this section of purple material in the middle that the wielder wields the weapon and typically would adjust their grip from. The tip of the polearm has two extended points in the form of a bident though they are incredibly thin and extend beyond the axe head and begin where the axe head is attached to the shaft's material. The axe head itself has an additional spear-like point protruding from the rear side and opposite of this is the main weight of the weapon. An axe head that is approximately 22 inches in total length from point to point, top to bottom. The material on the outside is incredibly thick steel and sharpened down to a razor-like point and held together as it goes inward by increasingly thick and compacted layers of steel before reaching the actual shaft of the weapon.
Strengths:
The weight of the weapon is almost entirely present in the head of the axe and top of the weapon allowing it to smash into targets with greater force due to momentum when striking The weight of the weapon being behind the bladed part of the axe head allows it not only to cut but to smash in and indent/bend metals of lower quality than it when striking with full force.
Weaknesses:
The extra weight near the head of the axe and top of the weapon can make the balance of the weapon somewhat dipped in that direction causing the swing of the weapon to be a lot easier on the body than the recoil and recovery after use. Due to the balance of the weapon being off center and the weapon being made of non-bending metallic materials, a strong strike against the shaft of the weapon could cause cracking along the shaft which could cause the weapon itself to snap through only the usage of it to attack.

NOTE: Remember that as a D-rank weapon it is basically garbage, meaning that thiss just pretty garbage with some functionality.
