Black Serenade Empty
PostSubject: Black Serenade   Black Serenade EmptySat Feb 18, 2017 6:31 pm

Skill Set Name:Black Serenade
Elemental Property:Nature and Light
Stat Specialization: Attack
Skill Set Information:Conjuration Magic
The Black Serenade is a Demonic type of Magic, created by Demon's with a penchant for Manipulating Mortals, songs of triumph, hymns of love and desire, and words that cut so deep that an unlucky soul actually bleeds.
The Joy of Music is defiled and turned against the very hands that created them, turning an artform into a horrid weapon, a sweet tasting poison, an unseen dagger drug across the neck.

And only the must despicable of Demon's employs it's use.

Black Serenade is a type of Demonic Bardic magic, used to buff, debuff, inspire emotions in targets and even attack in rare cases.
It's a supportive art, but one that can be used to target themselves along with other's for several different effects.

Passives:

Ghost Sounds;
Black Serenade user's cause a sound as quiet as a whisper or as loud as a yelling or fighting creature to emanate from themselves or a place of their choosing. They can produce vocal and nonvocal sounds such as the ringing of a sword blow, jingling armor, or scraping stone, gunfire, musical instruments, singing, yelling, whispering in someone's ear, or bloodcurdling screams or the roars of massive beasts, any sound one can think of at a range of 75 meters.

Extra-dimensional awareness;
Black Serenade User's have a strange habit of pulling strange genre's of music from nowhere, and none of them explain where it comes from, where they've heard it, or how they're aware of it.
(4th wall breaking Musical Knowledge; Explaining how this character pulls AC/DC and Billy Idol in a Medieval setting.)

Idol Presence;
At will, by performing an action or creating a loud noise, the User can draw all eyes to himself within a 30 meter radius, giving off the impression that he's something impressive to behold, either as a grand buffoon worth glaring at, something to be in awe of, or simply something to be enraged at.
How others react to 'Idol Presence' is up to their discretion, but the User will draw their attention for a total of three posts, after the ability is used it cannot be used again for five posts.

Skill Set Strengths:

The biggest Balls of them All!;
When their performances are heard, all within their range will feel the intense desire to dance, like an itch that simply will not go away, or perhaps something similar to being uncomfortably parched with a drink nowhere in sight.
This desire persists for two posts, even after they are out of range or the music is stopped.
The effects of TBBOTA can very easily be resisted, but at the cost of extreme discomfort, the urge to dance to the Black Serenade's song is strong and to not give in will bring about symptoms similar to a body going through withdrawals even as the music seems to grow louder to the Target's perception and the desire grows even deeper and while the desire is great, it does not effect the body save for the imagined symptoms.

Freaking Out;
Black Serenade is a subtle art, used to manipulate emotions, inspire fear, rage, confusion, sorrow, love, lust, devotion, courage or pure fiery zeal and determination.
This can manifest in a myriad of ways, and depends on the Song and will of the User.

Don't stop me Now!;
When attacked during a 'Performance' the User gains a +10 to speed in order to dodge, winds carrying them along as they dance out of range of the attacks.

Skill Set Weakness:

Rock-Off;
'Idol Presence' is a double-edged sword, while it will draw the attention of any and all within it's range, the User does not decide how a PC will react to their presence, and thus is subject to any and all emotions that might come with said attention, including the Target deciding they Hate him with such zeal that they're entire soul demands the User must Die.

Thunderstruck!;
While powerful, Black Serenade has a clear weakness, if one can simply overpower the Performance, then it'll drown out the magic in the music.

Scales and Arpeggios;
'Don't stop me now!' Works on only one Person, if two people were to attack during the performance, the Debuff is taken away, on top of that the User's speed is debuffed by -10 as long as they attempt to keep the performance up while dodging attacks.

Technique Name: Counter Song!
Technique Rank F
Technique Focus Supplementary
Technique's Duration Active until the User stops, or is Interrupted.
Technique Description:
The Black Serenade user raises his voice in a song, their magic interfering with the flow of magic that strengthens his Enemies and Debuffs his Allies, overpowering it with his own magic, it also effects Illusionary spells, Mind Control and other Spells meant to effect the User's perception, mind and freewill.
Within a range of 30 meters, those buffed by Lineages, Skills or Weapons, and Allies are found without that strength and likewise, Allies who are debuffed are brought back to full strength, as the User's magic combats another's.

Because this requires the Caster to overpower the other Spell, it can only be used against another Spell of the same Rank.

Technique Name: Number One!
Technique Rank F
Technique Focus Supplementary, Healing.
Technique's Duration Five posts, or the User is interrupted.
Technique Description:
The User raises their voice in a song, invigorating their allies bodies  and filling their minds with the zeal and determination to see their chosen task to completion.
Grants a +10 to Attack and Speed to all allies for total of five posts, as well as granting +5 Health per turn capped at their maximum health.

- Please add a range for this passive, or state that this is used in conjunction with techniques if it is not a stand-alone property.

Extra-dimensional awareness;
Black Serenade User's have a strange habit of pulling strange genre's of music from nowhere, and none of them explain where it comes from, where they've heard it, or how they're aware of it.

How others react to 'Idol Presence' is up to their discretion, but the User will draw their attention for a time. - How long? Can PCs resist this? Just a little more elaboration on how it affects other PCs in regards to whether or not they are capable of avoiding it's effects would be greatly appreciated.

This desire persists for two posts, even after they are out of range or the music is stopped. - Does this cause a debuff? Or does it force a PC or NPC to dance? Can it be resisted as well? Please elaborate just a bit further on this.
