| Skill Name: Black Sword Style Skill Type: Two-Handed, one-bladed swordsmanship Skill Strengths:
- The first and foremost strength of this fighting style is to afford Damocles an alternative combat style in case he is unable to use his Jinshi Jinshi no Mi.
- The skill alone requires above-average amounts of physical strength and endurance. Hence, this style grants masters of such style the ability to perform extraordinarily strong physical blows, effectively making them tanks of war. In practice, users of this style rely on incredible might and raw power to overwhelm their opponents.
- Damocles has been known to combine both his Haki and Devil Fruit abilities to maximize the effectiveness of his swordsmanship style. By infusing his attacks with armament haki, he is capable of bypassing the natural intangibility of Logia users and by using his Devil Fruit he can levitate and hurl his sword without having to actually use his hands.
Skill Weaknesses:
- The style is motivated by anger and rage, meaning that Damocles exposes himself to a a dangerous amount of wrath. At peak levels it is considered highly hazardous for his allies to even be around him given the berserker-esque aspect of this particular style of combat.
- In exchange for granting the user titanous might and endurance, a practitioner's speed and agility are drastically weakened to the point where enemies of higher dexterity and reflexes can outmaneuver Damocles's might.
- If he is submerged inside seawater, he cannot use his Devil Fruit abilities with his swordsmanship style. Likewise, if his enemy possesses a higher level of Haki his techniques concerning Haki are almost worthless.

T1 Technique Name: First Order: Savageness
T1 Technique Type: Offensive
T1 Technique Cool Down: 3 Posts
T1 Technique information: By gripping the hilt of his sword with both hands and positioning his large sword over his head, Damocles unleashes a brutal overhead downward swing that cleaves right through the intended surface.
T1 Technique Strengths: The attack is quite damaging at close range. Alternatively, Damocles can press down his sheer might into force and launch an arch of compressed air that is colored black.
T1 Technique Weaknesses: This attack leaves Damocles open to frontal attacks due to the fact that he exposes his chest.
T1 Technique Name: First Order: Force
T1 Technique Type: Defensive
T1 Technique Cool Down: 3 posts
T1 Technique information: By holding his hilt at the ready and using the wide side of his blade, Damocles is capable of intercepting an incoming attack and then re-directign the same force of the attack back at his enemy by performing a wide side slash.
T1 Technique Strengths: The technique allows Damocles to both defend and then inflict damage depending on the attack type. At close range the attack is simply a riposte yet at long range he fires off three shots of black compressed air slashes.
T1 Technique Weaknesses: If the technique is higher than Tier 2, he cannot re-direct the force and only blocks.
T1 Technique Name: First Order: Arrow
T1 Technique Type: Offensive
T1 Technique Cool Down: 2 posts
T1 Technique information: Damocles stabs his enemy/ies with a forceful frontal attack and then slashes from the stab wound up.
T1 Technique Strengths: If his enemy is at long range, he can fire a compressed flying slash that holds enough power as a pistol.
T1 Technique Weaknesses: A slashing attack of equal force can counter this attack and parry it off.
T1 Technique Name: First Order: Push
T1 Technique Type: Offensive
T1 Technique Cool Down: 2 posts
T1 Technique information: Damocles closes the distance between his enemy and slams the spiked pommel of his blade against his enemy's gut.
T1 Technique Strengths: The attack briefly stuns enemies. This attack generally serves as a way for him to chain a combo such as dealign another technique while his enemy is stunned.
T1 Technique Weaknesses: The technique deals very little damage.
- Tier 2 techniques:
T2 Technique Name: Second Order: Dreadful Maw
T2 Technique Type: Offensive
T2 Technique Cool Down: 4 Post
T2 Technique information:By gripping the hilt of his sword tightly and using a high amount of strength, Damocles is capable of unleashing a flurry of black-colored flying slashes.
T2 Technique Strengths: Alternatively, Damocles is capable of further comprising his multiple slashes into one, highly-compressed orb that blasts right through a hard surface.
T2 Technique Weaknesses: This technique cannot pierce through defenses that are higher than Tier 2. It may deal considerable damage to Tier 3 defenses, but may not blast through them.
T2 Technique Name: Second Order: Indomitable Slash
T2 Technique Type: Offensive
T2 Technique Cool Down: 4 Posts
T2 Technique information: Damocles spins his blade in a swift circle, slashing at foes all around the user.
T2 Technique Strengths: This attack covers a complete 360 degree angle. This attack has the potential to sever limbs such as legs and open up chests and the sort.
T2 Technique Weaknesses:Due to the fact that this technique is performed down to Damocles, this technique doesn't deal much damage above his enemy's body. The highest he could strike would be the neck and never the head.
T2 Technique Name:SecondOrder: Arc of Punishment
T2 Technique Type:Defensive, Offensive
T2 Technique Cool Down: 5 Posts, Duration 3 posts.
T2 Technique information: Damocles he releases his sword and fires it spinning at high rates while coated in both Armament Haki and electricity from his devil fruit. The sword stays afloat for three posts.
T2 Technique Strengths: This attack deals heavy electric damage as well as allows Damocles to fight while his sword levitates around his persona.
T2 Technique Weaknesses: The sword attack does not carry as much force as it would carry if he uses his blade with both hands. It would still hurt, but it would not have the sheer raw power behind Damocles's primal strength.
T2 Technique Name: Second Order: Arc of Deliverance
T2 Technique Type:Offensive
T2 Technique Cool Down: 5 Posts
T2 Technique information: By charging up is power on a previous post, Damocles builds up his physical might. Afterwards, he raises his sword high over his head and then releases all that buil-up power in a single, critical overhead swing.
T2 Technique Strengths: This is his strongest Tier 2 technique. With this technique alone he is capable of dealing grievous if not mortal injuries to Tier 1 enemies. The technique does high damage to Tier 2 enemies and delivers considerable damage ti Tier 3 enemies.
T2 Technique Weaknesses: Damocles needs to charge-up this attack before actually doing it. Hence he leaves himself up to punishment for a single post before unleashing this devastating blow

| All in all these abilities are beautifully balanced (made me happy :3). However in the weakness section the third one about his devil fruit should probably be replaced. The fruit would generally be an augmentation to the style not at it's heart. As such the water weakness fits well with the fruit skills, but probably not here. The other weaknesses were good, but if you could give us another, that'd be pretty fly.
Also, for 'Dreadful Maw', how would you describe these "flying blade" are they wind? Are they magnetic force? Is it childrens' wishes? Do tell. | |
