Camping in the woods [OPEN]

Lazuli sat crouched up on a tree branch several meters in the air, the wind gently blowing through the trees while the sun hangs in the sky, turning the blue sky orange as it begins to set. She holds completely still as she watches the ground below, a handful of nuts and berries laying there below her. She'd been waiting in this spot for at least an hour now, and she was starting to get bored and impatient. Her stomach growled hungrily and she holds herself tight... her bait didn't seem to be doing well.

Just as she was about to give up however, she saw a squirrelly creature scurry over to the pile, picking up and examining the nuts. The fox girl's eyes light up as she leaps from her branch to pounce on the small critter, grabbing it with both hands and holding tight. "Gotcha! Lazuli wins! Smartest fox!" She grins as she stands up and quickly breaks the small animal's neck, ending it's life quickly and painlessly. "Now then! Let's see if I can find someone to cook you up." She then begins walking through the forest, the dead animal in hand, looking for someone who might be willing to share in her catch.

"Why was she here?" A giant of a man spoke out loud to his practically dead comrade. A gentle giggle echoed through the forest as a beautiful woman snapped the giant's arm in half. "..Because someone sent for your death.." The woman's lush red lips rose upwards curling into a cute and fascinating smile. The Giant who was already pinned to the ground didn't even try anymore, He knew exactly who this person was and there was no way he would get out of this one. "Who put out the hit on me, Rainbow Reaper?" He said with a shaky voice, Trying his best to contain the pain he had been inflicted.

"You owe someone Gold.. Looks like your Luck have ran out.. Better pray to The nameless divine." The woman shot her heel into his mid spine, Crushing his vertebra and causing quite a lot of nerve damage. A painful scream echoed through the forest followed by a giggle. "I won that match! He is just a sore loser!" The giant of a man shouted bravely. The woman released her grip on his arm and took her heel from his back. "Ah. Well then, Go Free." She couldn't help but smile brightly as he attempted to get up from the ground.

The man limped around for a little bit and then fell onto a nearby Tree. "I can barely walk..What did you do to me!?" The woman came up to him slowly with her umbrella extended outwards. She smiled with glee at the same time she pressed a button; This releasing a blade at the end of the opened umbrella. She then made a swift thrust into his heart twirling it and causing blood to splatter everywhere.

Before the giant of a fellow knew it he was waking up from what was a bad dream, panting. "Did you enjoy my illusion?" The woman swirled her umbrella on her shoulder all the while glancing across the way. By a nearby tree the physically undamaged fellow looked up in fear. "Z-Zerina Zayne.." He gulped noticing all fifteen of his men around him were either caught in the illusion.. or dead..

Lazuli,s ears twitched at the sound of people's voices, her smile growing as she changes direction towards the noise. She picks up her pace until she can see two figures a short distance away. Just as she begins to move forward and opens her mouth to introduce herself, she notices all the men laying around on the ground... Something dangerous was going on here.

Instead of speaking up and introducing herself, the fox moves behind a tree, pressing her body against it while peeking around one side, her face and ears visible to anyone who actually looked her way, along with the tip of her tail peeking out around the other side of the tree. She was curious to see and learn just what was going on here. Who were these people? Why were they fighting? Who were the good guys and who were the bad guys? Would they kill each other? Would whoever lived cook her squirrel?

Zerina Noticed almost right away as the forest like being came into her presence across the way but did not want to startle her just yet. "Well then.. We both know you wont be getting away from me.. So How about you come with me, Johnny?" Zerina spun her crimson umbrella calmly as the man got to his feet. "..I have no choice really.." Johnny glanced around at all his men once more and then back up at Zerina. "A Lady has got to eat!" She smirked brightly, walking over to where the Fox creature was. "So.. Are you going to come out and play?" Zerina smirked wildly.

Johnny picked up his sword, Sheathing it while sighing dully. "..Damn it.." His medium armor and metal battle boots were the two things that stood out between him and his men and they were obviously worth some money but his sword.. That was truly a beauty that he did not want to loose and if he happened to use it against Zerina he knew she would either destroy it, Hide it, or take it from him.. So Johnny did the only intelligent thing.. Sheath it.

Lazuli would flinch slightly when the woman begins walking her way, realizing she'd been seen. When spoken to she smiles and steps out from behind her tree. "Hello! I would have come out sooner, but you looked like your game was almost done. And from the little I heard, you won! Congratulations! I won earlier too, but my prize isn't as big as yours i think."

Lazuli would then present her limp squirrel, holding it up with one hand while putting the other on her hip and beaming proudly. "Caught it with my own two hands!" Remembering what she had been looking for before arriving on this scene, she then looks between the two people who were still standing. "Oh, are you guys in a hurry? I was actually looking for someone to cook this. I'd be willing to share. I'd cook it myself but..." Lazuli blushes slightly and looks down shamefully. "I always burn things. I'd rather eat it raw than burnt, even if I do get a belly ache. So, can you help me out?" The fox girl looks up again, waiting to see if the woman would assist with cooking her catch.

Zerina Turned her head to the side, watching and listening to the Fox Girl. "O-Oh.." Zerina had not expected such a humble request from such an Innocent girl. It was odd to Zerina, Usually she was attacked left and right, proving that the world was cruel and dark.. But this Girl.. The Fox Girl, she proved that there was a glimmer of light in this dark world. "I.. Uhmm.." Zerina looked at Johnny and then back to the dead squirrel. "I would burn it as well.." She spoke the truth out loud catching Johnny by surprise.

"WHHHHATTTTTT?!?!?!?!" Johnny shouted and put his hands on his head. "Y-You! Cant be serious! Your a Demi God for Xi's Sake! and you cant cook?!!?" Johnny's words made Zerina blush. "Err.. Yeah.." She looked towards the ground spinning her umbrella. "Okay! Well.. I can cook. So.. Lets heat this bad boy up! but we are going to need more food.." Johnny turned to Zerina who winked. "Sure.. I'm on it." She disappeared for a few moments in a poof of Rainbow Shadows and came back with a dead jungle tiger.

"Here you go.." She held the massive beast with one hand flinging it to Johnny's feet. "W-W---HATTTTTTT THHHEEE HELLLL?!?!?!?!?" The beast's body made the ground shake slightly. "There you go.. Now then..COOK!" Zerina smiled, Motioning to the Young Fox girl to sit next to her on the rather comfortable log. Still, Around them were passed out or dead, men. But this did not bother Zerina one bit.

Soon a large fire was made, The beast and the squirrel were skinned and they were thrusted through a heavy duty stick to cook over the blazing flames. "Should be a bit until its done.. " Johnny sighed. There was absolutely no way he would escape his fate, He would have to deal with his debts in Plasma City.

Lazuli perks up a bit when the woman admits that she too would burn the squirrel, feeling less ashamed since they had this failing in common. She then immediately slaps her hands over her ears as the large man shouts, wincing at how loud he is. "You don't have to yell, we're right here." When he brought up the woman's demi-god status the fox froze up a bit. Staying quiet until the woman vanished to go get more food, Lazulil stares forward and mutters to herself. "I asked a demi-god to cook my squirrel..." She snaps out of her daze when she the woman returns with a huge tiger in hand, her eyes lighting up with admiration. "Wooooow."

Following her motioning, she sits down on the log, her tail clearly wagging behind her. "That was amazing! You caught it so fast! And it's so big!" Remembering her manners, Lazuli would take a quick breath to calm down, though her tail refused to stop moving. "My name is Lazuli. I'm... super excited to meet you! I've never even seen a demi-god before! I've only ever heard stories about how strong they are! Do you think I could be one someday!?" Lazuli couldn't help getting giddy and excited again as she spoke to the woman.

Once the meat begins to cook however, Lazuli's nose would twitch and she would slowly begin turning to look at the meat. The fox girl struggled to keep paying attention to the demi-god, but drool would begin to appear around her mouth as well as a look of bliss as the smell of cooking meat but her into a trance.

"My name is Lazuli. I'm... super excited to meet you! I've never even seen a demi-god before! I've only ever heard stories about how strong they are! Do you think I could be one someday!?" Lazuli spoke which made Zerina smirk. ".. Yes, I think you have the potential to be a Demi God as well!" The Fox Girl had unexpectedly awakened something inside Zerina that she had lost through the ages. A Softness that she desired and once had, She had searched for it for so long- Yet here it was, Warming up her heart a little.

"..My name is Zerina, Demi God of Illusion. Im a Faery originally from this forest..It is good meeting you, Lazuli." Zerina looked at the amazing meat and then looked back to Lazuli. "Why do you want to become a Demi God?" Zerina asked with a glimmer of rainbow in her eyes. She remembered when someone special to her asked her the same question and she was curious as to what Lazuli would say.

After a little while the meat simmered to a golden brown. "AH! Here it is.. Done at last!" Johnny split the meat up separately on large sticks for the three of them to enjoy. It wasn't everyday that a Jungle tiger was defeated like that. "Hmm.. I think I know what to do with the Hide." Zerina spoke with her mouthful. It was a skill of hers to craft Clothing and make armor out of raw materials. As she ate she concentrated on making the perfect cloak with the material she had and the materials in her bag.. The cloak would originally be Orange and it was almost weightless. It would possess the same properties as the tiger with defense and with magical ability. Zerina quickly sewed, cut, and crafted the cloak with ease making it perfect for the Fox Girl. And finally.. When it was done and her meat was gone, Zerina would hand Lazuli the Masterpiece she had created.

Jungle Tiger's Cloak

Lazuli tilts her head slightly when asked about why she wants to be a demi-god, seeming a bit confused by the question. "Well, lots of people would want that right? You're strong, smart, people aspire to be like you... Oh, wait, do you mean what I'd want to do as a demi-god?" Lazuli smiles as she realizes the actual question that was asked. "Well, if I could be a demi-god... I could learn all sorts of secret stuff! I wanna learn all the secrets the world holds! Like Time magic! I hear it's really rare and powerful, and if I become a demi-god, then I can impress Chronos and he'll let me learn about all it's secrets! Then it'll be easy to travel all around the world and learn everything there is to know!"

Lazuli clenches her fist in front of her with excited determination... until the smell of the finished meat hits her again and she starts to drool again. "Plus I can have lots of yummy meat." Taking the stick handed to her, she begins tearing into the meat like a starving animal. Finishing up rather quickly, Lazuli sighs happily and licks her fingers clean while watching Zerina finish making the hide into a cloak. When offered the cloak, she would blink in surprise and point to herself. "For me?"

Making sure she'd cleaned herself up, Lazuli would carefully take the cloak and put it on over her clothes, slowly turning around as she does her best to look at herself, her tail wagging once more underneath it as she turns back to the demi-god. "This is amazing! It's so comfy and warm! I love it!"

"Ohhh.. Time Magic is one of the rarest forms of magic, you know. You would Certainly be able to dive deeper into that if you were a Demi God... Your a Follower of The God of Time and Messages eh?" Zerina thought for a few moments to see if she could remember the Champion of Time she had met long ago. "I met a Champion of Chronos once- He was.. Stupid to say the least, Didn't even get to make it through the first match of the tournament of Champions." Zerina thought about how the Champion's leg was shattered by a blast of powerful magic the first match of the Tournament.. If only he would have blocked it.. Or slowed down time to dodge it.

"I'm glad you like the Cloak.. I put some magical abilities within it while crafting it! One day it will help you win the Tournament." Zerina spoke with her rainbow eyes closed. She got up from her seat on the log and began to twist her umbrella over her shoulder like she often did. "Well then.. would you like to travel with me Lazuli? I'm going to Adaria, Plasma City.. to drop off this guy." Zerina hadn't had a companion since hers had died hundreds of years ago. But she was willing to take the chance with this one for some reason.. Maybe it was her Foxy tail or lovely attitude, Who Knows, Maybe it was just a good day for Zerina.. But one thing was for sure. She was going to leave soon with, Or without the Foxy Girl very soon.

I'll love to come with you after all a demi god is something to behold am I wrong.
The man voice sounded as if he was all around them. However it was his black butterflies whom began to move around them. They was harmlessly to the demi god and the other two. They was only attached to strong souls. Which lead the high priest to them. So Trillion appeared as he held his hand up as a black butterfly landed on him. I just saw what you did back there taking that tiger out like that. I couldn't help but wonder whom you just might be. I am Shadow well Trillion Shadow I am a high priest nice to me you all maybe.

He put his hand over his right eye smiling.

Lazuli stops admiring her cloak when Zerina mentions seeing a champion of Chronos fight in the tournement and... well, completely fail apparently. She thought about it a bit before putting her hands on her hips and puffing her chest with pride. "Well, I'm not gonna fail like that guy did! I'll be too fast and smart for anyone to even touch me when I'm a champion!" She smiles a bit, happy to display her determination. Then she heard that the cloak was magic and went back to gushing over how much she loved it.

"It's magic too!? Best cloak ever! What's it do? Wait, no, I can figure it out! Let's see... you made rainbows when you disappeared, so maybe it can change color? Can I make it red?" Looking the cloak over, her desire to see what it would look like in the new color would cause it to change into a solid red cloak. "It does change color! Wait, that won't help in a tournement. There must be something else..." Lazuli would start muttering to herself as she starts examining the cloak, trying to figure out it's mysteries on her own.

Upon hearing the invitation to join Zerina to travel she stops her investigation to respond, but is cut off by a sudden voice around them. Looking around at the butterflies, Lazuli would try to snatch one out of the air, curious about what it was. She would stop when she noticed Trillion appear, tilting her head slightly as she wondered how he was connected to the butterflies. "High priest? I thought priests were those guys who stay in the big temple things and tell people what to do for one of the gods."

Zerina Giggled at her will to become a Demi God and the powers she would have in the future. "I'm sure you will be as quick as lightning." She then Allowed Lazuli to figure out the abilities of the cloak on her own, finding it exciting to watch. "Color Is what allowed me to win the Tournament of Champions.. Do not under estimate The power of color and illusion.. Remember that.." Zerina gave a wink at the Foxy girl. All of a sudden obsidian butterflies appeared in Zerina's sights. She knew exactly what this was, A follower of Pandora who had foolishly tried to sneak up on them. The Black Butterflies were nothing else but a warning to all those around that a follower was near.

It was more or less a Fear tactic which worked on quite a few folks. "..The invitation was only directed at the Fox Girl, Follower of Pandora." Zerina's entire composure changed as well as all the color that was once present. Her rainbow attire transformed into a gothic scene and her rosey skin changed to a dull, white. The plants, trees and everything else in range besides Lazuli and Johnny were purged of their former color and replaced with black, whites and greys. "I am Zerina Zayne, Demi Goddess of Color and Illusions.. And You are no high priest." Zerina spoke sternly, She had come across many across the lands that claimed to be a high priest of Pandora.. But the sad fact was.. The High Priest Ceremony required countless things to prepare it and a godly appearance of Pandora herself who had been sealed for a Thousand years.

It was common for folks to not trust anyone who followed Pandora.. The sad truth was, her followers were dwindling and fading away since her imprisonment.

He smiled at the rainbow reaper as she said he wasn't a high priest, I assure you I am one. I'm from a temple in the forgotten land's. So yes it's true the followers of my goddess is dying but that's the beauty with them gone I'll usher in a new era one where I'm the only one left.It will be a glorious day for me. Listen I'm not a bad guy ok I'm a good one not all who lives in Pandora Blessings are evil just misunderstood.

he looked to the other girl smiling, yes You are right but lol lady I'm different from the other ones I'm Trillion don't forget to remember that. But look I want to join up if you'll hear me out rainbow reaper. By the way I'll love to take you on sometimes. He smiled looking at the strange colors.

Lazuli looks around in awe at the decolorized forest, amazed by the demi-god's ability. The way she had drained everything around them was a statement to her power, making everyone stand out among the gray. Noticing the hostility Zerina seemed to be giving off towards the strange butterfly man, Lazuli grins a bit, her tail wagging slightly as she shifts her feet apart in preparation to move if fighting started. "Trillion? Isn't that a number? I'm just gonna call you mister butterfly. If Zerina is okay with keeping you around anyways. Buuuuut, I don't think she is. She looks pretty grumpy right now. She stopped smiling when you showed up, so i'm pretty sure doesn't like you even a little bit."

Zerina turned her head to the side. "Just because you Originate in the Forgotten Lands doesn't mean anything. To become a TRUE high priest of any God, They personally have to come to you- They physically have to be part of the High Priest ritual.. And because Pandora has been sealed, There is only a few high priests left.." Zerina sighed at the man while spinning her umbrella. "I know about Pandora all too well and am not interested in being allies with someone who is her follower- The fact is, She will be coming back to the world soon.. after nearly a thousand years in her prison. Not many heed her last words before she was sealed." Zerina took a deep breath in and began to pace. "People think that the legend of Pandora are myth because for a thousand years she has disappeared from existence. They don't believe in her anymore.."

Zerina spoke harshly but it was the truth, people stopped believing in her as soon as her protection began to fade away, her magic grew weaker as time went on people simply abandoned her. "Listen, When she returns she will call her followers to a single place.. Then The Chaos will begin. So I'm not about to invite you to join us for tea, Let alone let you travel with us." Zerina pointed outwards, making it clear that he should leave her presence before she made him. His interest to fight her did not matter, She knew if he did try and fight her he would surely lose and probably Die.

His eyes widen at what she said not about Pandora but that he was not a high priest. He smiled and said, true being so young one would think I'm lying. However I'm not you see I been reincarnated over the years. It's a little secret I learn to remember my past lives. Well I don't remember but my Chruch does. With that being said I've met the goddess herself in my past life a life she made me one of her high priest. She's gonna return and that's when I'll have my glory days again however. I'm not keen that I'm her iy follower do i must kill the other ones. So that I will be her only one left no other choice but to become the chosen one by default.
He smiled as he sat down, so please don't judge me I'm doing the world a favor. We can truly work together rainbow reaper. I'm a sinner not the devil so don't tell me you some saint. He smiled looking at the woman.

Lazuli was a bit... confused about what the man was saying. Past lives? And he doesn't like other Pandora followers? She wasn't really following, but she did understand that he was insisting on coming along with Zerina. Frowning a bit, the fox girl crosses her arms over her chest. "Hey, she already said no mister butterfly. Twice. You should just move on. You're starting to be a real creep."

Lazuli then uncrossed her arms and clenched her fists, taking a deep breath as she gets ready to activate her own magic and do her best in 'convincing' him to leave them alone. Zerina had been super nice to her and this guy was irritating her! The demi-god had even been nice enough to invite Lazuli to come with her to take that big Johnny to the city... speaking of Johnny, the big guy sure had been quiet since mister butterflies had shown up. Deciding to turn her attention to him, she would look towards the large man and ask him "Oh, I forgot to say thanks for cooking the meat so well earlier! It was really good!"

Zerina's eyes squinted as her pointing to leave was pretty much ignored. "..I have given you multiple chances, Follower of Pandora. Now You have made me angry." Zerina pointed the umbrella she had been spinning on her shoulder at the man after Lazuli warned him. "Begone." She slammed her umbrella into the mans chest, causing a rainbow of color to hit him powerfully and force him to literally fly off into the sky, going who knows where.. But the fact was, he would not be bothering them here again.

Johnny smiled and chuckled a little. "Ah! thank you, Its one of my skills to cook!" The large man looked at the colorless area and then to Zerina. "..I suppose we should be going to Adaria now eh?" Johnny rubbed the back of his neck and walked closer to her. Zerina Spun her umbrella on her shoulder and smirked. "We will travel by rainbow." She held out her hand towards the sky making a large rainbow road appear on the ground, Through the trees and across the sky. The rainbow seemed endless, going in the direction of Adaria and over the Forgotten Lands.

"Take my hand.. This is going to be fast. Really Fast." Zerina's Rainbow was as strong as a steel road and she was the only one that could travel it. Zerina made a medium sized cart that had four seats facing each other. As she touched each of her traveling companions a bracer for each of their wrists appeared in a rainbow color. "Only those who have the bracers may travel this road.." She welcomed them both to take a seat and enjoy the ride.

Trillion looked on as he was hit by a freaking rainbow be think he only knew he was in pain. Flying threw the sky Trillion notice he was leaking blood from his other wounds. Quickly he tried to break his fall only making it softer by landing on a well in a tree. Trillion was shocked as to why she would do such a thing but now he was greatly injured again. He feel out the tree as,he saw a rain from far away. He looked up to see a black panther coming towards him. Damon it all I just wanted friends not more enemies. Since they think I'm no goodwill end them as well. Soon I too will be a demi god and not even all the colors in the world could save them.
He looked over as the black panther made a histing sound at him. Oddly it has bags strapped on it as Trillion open it up to start cleaning his wounds. Trillion Shadow smiled as he Got up slowly walking away.
They say you meet the devil when you least expect to I guess I just met a second one.
He soon walked off with his pet following him surely Trillion was not done with them two. They meet again when Pandora is free and he two can match them in power.The rainbow reaper and Laz would not notice a few black butterflies here and there to indicate he was still out there.

Lazuli blinked in surprise as she watched Zerina launch Trillion away. He... really went flying."Wow, I called him mister butterfly, but I didn't think he'd fly THAT well! Definitely a good way to get someone to leave you alone though." Lazuli smiles at Zerina as she gives a compliment to her ability to make annoying people leave. Then she heard they would be travelling by rainbow and her mind was blown with wonder again.

"By rainbow!? Oh my gosh you can actually ride on those!? That's amazing!" She begins bouncing giddily when Zerina created the rainbow and gave her some sort of rainbow bracer. As soon as Lazuli had received the item to let her ride, she leaped up into the cart and took a seat, her tail once more wagging with excitement. "This is amazing! Today is the luckiest day ever! I get to ride on a rainbow! And I got a pretty magic cloak! And I made friends with an awesome demi-god! I feel like I'm gonna wag my tail off!"

Zerina smiled at her new companion and friend. "Soon enough we will be in Plasma City! Stick close to me while we are there. lots of.. Interesting folks live there." Zerina made the transportation fly off as soon as everyone was nice and secured. It zoomed faster than Zerina meant it to, flying over the Tribal lands of Ventari, over the Forgotten Lands and then into the hot climates of Adaria. Of course, this took some time but what would have taken nearly a month or two on foot only took a few hours at most.

When the Ride was over Zerina, Johnny and Lazuli would go on a new adventure within the great Plasma City..

Lazuli makes sure she's seated snug and secure before the cart takes off down the rainbow road, letting out an excited cheer as she feels the wind rush through here hair. It was truly incredible! Lazuli had never even dreamed of experiencing so incredible.

She was so excited in fact, she had completely forgotten how scared she was of cities. Though once they landed and actually arrived, she certainly would remember when she saw the crowds.
