Cecilia had left her hometown, the Emerald Forest to see the capital city of Windaria. She'd never been there before, she'd never even traveled outside the forest before now. Being someone with a thirst for knowledge, she wanted to get out there and see all she could.

Upon arriving in Windaria, she was awestruck by what she saw, tons of people, shops, and etc. She was truly amazed by it all. She was wearing her usual attire which was sexy and sultry, causing many men around to ogle her. However, the dark skinned elf didn't mind one bit, in fact she loved just about any kind of male attention. Some of the men checking her out had a female partner with them, causing those women to become racked with jealousy. Cecilia simply smirked at this as she continued to walk down the street with confidence and pride.

Cecilia went into the first bookstore that caught her eye, in hopes they would carry books she had yet to read back in the emerald forest.

Stern's Bookshelf.

The book store is loved in the community by studious types, or simply those who enjoy relaxing with a good book. Stern is an Older Gentlemen, pushing his late sixties and along with his many books, he has Wisdom and Knowledge that he shares freely with all those who seek it, Echo in his travels, has spoken to Stern many times, the man even showing him the books that got him started on learning his Secondary Magic abilities, which has been a boon he simply could not live without.

But today, he is not here to visit Stern, but merely to relax, taking a much needed respite from his Wandering.
Stern's is rather popular, not only because of Stern, but because of his wife Elizabeth, who also runs a Cafe inside the bookstore, serving drinks and small pastries for those interested in sitting and reading their purchases for awhile...
Echo similarly, is sitting at a table for two, a cup of hot tea set beside him, and an Adventure Book resting in his lap, a soft serene smile spread across his tanned face, crimson eyes flicking along the page warmly as he engrosses himself in the book.

As Cecilia wandered around the bookstore, she found a few that caught her eye, grabbed them from the shelves, went to the counter to pay. The store owner then let her know of the indoor cafe at the back of the store that his wife runs. Intrigued, Cecilia went to check it out.

She carried the small stack of books she just purchased and soon found herself standing in front of a little cafe. There weren't too many open tables, most were taken by other customers. Still, Cecilia scanned the area until she spotted a rather good looking young man, sitting at a table for two, by himself! This was perfect. Cecilia walked over to the young man. As she walked over to him, she started grabbing the attention of other male customers, some whistling at her, others just ogling her. Neither thing she minded.

Upon reaching the young man she rested her books on the edge of the table, looked him in the eye and spoke. "Excuse me, may I sit here? Not too many other tables are open." She said while pointing to the seat across from him with her eyes. She hoped she could. After all, the books were getting heavy and Cecilia was getting hungry.

A few catcalls has his smile dimming in annoyance, eyes flicking to the side briefly before going back to the page of his book, this is a place for reading, and such disrespectful conduct is unbecoming. But he's not willing to pick a fight over it, since it was a brief outburst, he'll keep his complaints to himself.
Reaching for his tea, he calmly takes a sip, just as a Woman asks him if she can sit across from him, his eyes flick up to hers briefly, he gives her a soft smile and a nod in response...
Before simply going back to his back, not giving her a second glance.
Those books looked heavy, hopefully she's not planning on carrying them home.

His thoughts go back towards the story, where the Young Knight has just encountered a horde of Orcs, he's challenged the Chief to one on one combat barehanded, and with the use of clever tactics and grappling techniques, he defeats the opponent of superior size and strength, earning him the Orc Chieftans respect and a place among the Tribe as an Honored-Brother, truly this Dragonborn is a Hero that is a force to be reckoned with.
He reaches for his tea once more, taking a sip, clearly engrossed in his novel which is clearly titled 'Song of the Dovahkiin.'
The Novels are released bi-yearly, by a Writer named Bet Theeza, and though some of the simpler plot lines are criticized, Echo enjoys the admittedly childish formula, where the Hero, with righteousness on his side, triumphs over near insurmountable odds.

It's a nice escape from his normal routine.

As soon as the young man let her know it was okay, she sat down in the chair across from him. She moved her pile of books in front of her from the edge of the table. She then stood up to go order some food. When she stood up, more cat calls could be heard. She walked up to the counter where a sweet looking old lady stood behind it with a smile on her face. "Hi, I'd like to order the peach tart, the strawberry tart and a chocolate frappuccino please." The old lady nodded, rang up her order on the cash register which Cecilia payed the woman then she went back to sit at the table where she had her books.

Not too long after she'd placed her order, it was ready and brought to the table. Both pastries looked absolutely delicious and the coffee looked so fancy with whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top. Her eyes sparkled at everything in front of her. So, Cecilia waited no longer and started eating. While she ate, she grabbed the first book off the top of her pile with her free hand, placed it in her lap and opened it up. The book was titled "100 days around the world" It was about two men who traveled the entire world in just 100 days. They experienced many different cultures and atmospheres and learned so much. There was excitement, peril, romance and all of it was dazzling to the young elven woman.

...Did the men in Windaria suddenly lose any sense of propriety or courtesy in the time he was away...?
His annoyed glance up from his back silences a few, his crimson eyes gleaming unnaturally in tune with his ire, before he flinches, ducking his head in embarrassment at his anger getting the better of him for a moment.
Still, he's unsure why one Woman is bringing such a visceral reaction, her figure is nice admittedly but is that really all it takes for these men to lose control of themselves so thoroughly...?

Some have even taken to giving him dirty looks, though he can't even begin to fathom why, if this keeps up he may have to actually take his book elsewhere, the noise and attention are a becoming a bit much for him, and the tea could only do so much to calm his nerves if the area is so filled with ire and..eugh, so much lust it's practically filling the air..
Still, he merely sighs softly and goes back to his book, lips pursed slightly and brow furrowed in displeasure...

Oh, those pastries smell absolutely heavenly though.
