General Appearance: Kaijo has a more laid back appearance usually. Usually when on islands with more normal weather he sticks with a simple sleeveless shirt and some form of shorts, on colder islands he wears a long sleeved shirt with pants. He usually just tries to dress simple and not stick out among a crowd. However when expecting a fight, he would normally wear what he considers to be his 'captain's garments,' a white coat with black lining. He wears this when he expects trouble or a fight, when he isn't trying to hide his identity. Besides that, his clothing normally doesn't vary from the norm.

Besides his clothing, he is fairly muscular for his age, and has fair skin. He enjoys keeping his hair long and overgrown so he can cover his horns with it. Not due to a lack of pride or embarrassment, just due to not wanting to explain it to every passerby or to receive odd stares. While learning how to blacksmith from his father, he actually managed to scar his eye with a burn leaving his right eye covered by an eye patch. Hidden behind his blonde hair, he has white horns. These horns are small and only extend a few inches away from his head, three inches to be exact.

Personality: Kaijo is a fairly laid back person. Never letting any stressful situation get to him, he tends to keep his calm in most situations. It's almost impossible to piss him off, save for messing with a friend under his protection. The consequences of making him angry don't vary from his typical attitude. He kills whenever he sees fit. He's on the constant search for Souls due to his abilities, and he typically enjoys seeking out those of which are on par, if not stronger than he is. Kaijo only seeks fights when he knows he has something to gain from it, rarely will he ever instigate violence if it was for nothing of value.

In terms of his crew he isn't really picky. If he sees someone who he knows is strong, he would typically invite them despite any present crew relations to the invitee. He's even asked active Marine soldiers if they would like to join, as well as known Pirate's crew members despite any consequences that would possibly arise. He would even invite the weak, confident that he could make anyone help anyone reach their true potential. When it comes to forging swords, however, he is slightly more picky. Usually he only would make one for friends, close or not. Anyone else was usually seen as fodder for his abilities.

Personality Quirks: He often says a made up word a lot; Spoopy. He uses the word as if it had an interchangeable definition, and means that a situation, object, plan, etc, is neither negative or positive. He uses it to define something scary, strong, great, good, and etc. He also has a signature laugh based off this word; "Spoopoopoo~"

Motivations: His goal in life is to one day create the perfect sword. Who it's wielded by is of no importance to Kaijo.

Character History: Kaijo was born on the Eitaishima island. His father was a blacksmith, and his mother a stay-at home mother. He lived a fairly happy childhood, made friends, attended classes, wasn't poor. He led a fairly normal life. The fact that this was a prime town for bounty hunters only made it appeal to him more. He was proud of his home Island. His father had many stories of sailing as a Pirate Hunter at one point. He would often tell them, though he was more interested by the Pirates than anything. Where they were in his stories, the armies they amassed. His father was fairly powerful but hunted in groups led by a legendary sniper, so it was slightly less appealing. This was where his appeal in Pirates began. He often visited the prisons to see the Pirates were being held awaiting for Marines, they would tell him more stories about the promise of adventure and treasures beyond one's comprehension. They would all eventually be executed before he could hear the rest. His sneaking into the prison didn't go unnoticed, in fact every time he had he was scolded.

Upon entering his teenage years, his father had agreed to train him to be a blacksmith in an attempt to get his mind off of visiting the prisons. This was successful, though he was still keen on becoming a pirate one day and sailing for adventures of his own. Sometime during this, he was given a fruit by a strange man. There were sometimes Pirates that were killed in the city, this one day led to a Devil fruit spawning on the tree in his backyard. He ate it, being slightly curious for as to how it tasted, not knowing what it was. This being the Soul fruit. Upon turning eighteen he informed his parents he was setting out on an adventure.
