Eiichi Fuwa's History

Eiichi was raised on Loguetown in the Polestar Islands. On his 13th birthday his parents got him a brown bird which he called Fly. He always went all over town with Fly helping elders with their chores. After he helped elders do their chores he went and bought treats for him and Fly to eat. Eiichi and Fly usually went to the fish market to see all kinds of fish there and to check out the new species of fish brought there. Both of them liked fish and other kinds of sea food ,it was their favorite type of food.

One day his parents went out and he proceded to go out with Fly as usual. He went to the fish market and stared at the fishes while asking question to the owner of the market. It was getting dark and he decided to head back to his home, on his way back he saw a crowd nearby and he went to check out what happened. When he went to see what happened he stared in shock seeing both of his parents lifeless on the floor with cuts on them. He overheard civilians murmuring about a pirate being on the town that day.

He went through a depression and locked himself on his house, Fly worried kept bringing Eiichi food but he wouldn't eat it. Eiichi would barely move and remained in his room. Fly was more and more worried about him as the days passed, One day he thought bringing him something special for him would cheer him up. He got some of Eiichi's saved Beri on a pouch and went outside. It was cloudy that day Fly went to the fish shop in the city but it was closed, disappointed. On his way back he noticed a sketchbook fall of the pocket of a man who was running. Fly noticed the man was running away from the marines and he must've been most likely been a criminal. The man looked back angered that the book fell but he had to keep running cause of the marines still being behind him.

He opened the sketchbook and inside there were full sketches and instructions on how to treat diseases and injuries. It had sketches and descriptions of different kind of herbs and medicines. Fly noticed it was some sort of personal medical journal and he started to search through the pages and try to find what could help Eiichi. He didn't find much but he thought  the sketchbook could help, he grabbed it with his talons and flew off back to the house. He started pecking Eiichi until he could grab the sketchbook. As Fly wanted, Eiichi grabbed the sketchbook slowly.

Eiichi opened it and started reading it, He saw many fishes, plants and items he had seen before and many he hasn't. Eiichi kept looking through the pages reading everything, Fly noticed he was pretty caught up on the book and looked much more calmer than when he saw him earlier. Eiichi was pretty intrigued with the sketchbook, He looked up at Fly cheerfully and thanked him for the gift. He didn't seem to care or notice how and where he got the book but Fly was happy that he managed to cheer him up so he stayed happy. Eiichi later started liking medical books and how to do them. He started practicing with people in the town to improve his medical skills.

Years passed and he was now 17 years old. Eiichi was dedicated on treating civilians and outsiders who got injured by both pirates and marines. He managed to become a great Doctor inside of Loguetown and he used funds people gave him for helping on food and things he needed to maintain Himself, Fly and their house. He would use the rest of his funds on getting medical gears and medicines that some civilians could need. He spent his time on Loguetown waiting to see if the pirate he holds a grudge with would show his face again.
