| Skill Name: Yhs Kenjutsu Skill Type: Swordsmanship Skill Strengths: - Offers great strength in close quarters Skill Weaknesses: - Not focused on ranged capability
- T1 Techniques:
T1 Technique Name: Sword // Ken - 剣 T1 Technique Type: Offensive T1 Technique Cool Down: 3 Posts T1 Technique information: Ken is a thrusting technique with the sword that creates a highly compressed blast of air with enough power to burst its way through a thick wall as if fired from a gun. T1 Technique Strengths: - Useful in close quarters and in range T1 Technique Weaknesses: - Linear, small projectile
T1 Technique Name: Handle // Gara - 柄 T1 Technique Type: Supplementary, Offensive T1 Technique Cool Down: 5 posts T1 Technique information: Handle is a technique in which the user slashes an opponent's weapon almost instantaneously. Apparently intended to disarm the opponent by destroying whatever weapon they might be wielding at close range. This can also be used as a variation where Vephist strikes the tip of his sword against the tip of his opponent's weapons to block. T1 Technique Strengths: - Offensive and defensive T1 Technique Weaknesses: - Requires precision
T1 Technique Name: Whip // Muchi - むち T1 Technique Type: Offensive T1 Technique Cool Down: 4 posts T1 Technique information: Whip is a technique where Vephist uses his sword to create a circular compressed blade of air by whipping his sword like it was a piece of rope. This will create a projectile that is shaped just like the Rankyaku, the infamous Rokushiki move taught by the World Government. T1 Technique Strengths: - Long-ranged T1 Technique Weaknesses: - Requires free space to whip his sword
T1 Technique Name: Killshot // Kirushotto - キルショット T1 Technique Type: Offensive T1 Technique Cool Down: 5 posts T1 Technique information: Killshot does the following: Vephist holds his sword with both hands and jumps while dashing or sprinting towards his opponent. Mid-air, he will rotate horizontally himself causing more penetrating power, like a drill. Most often, Vephist aims for anywhere in the opponent's chest, such as their lungs or heart. T1 Technique Strengths: - Very strong move T1 Technique Weaknesses: - Limited to a single target only
T1 Technique Name: Lantern // Rantan - ランタン T1 Technique Type: Offensive T1 Technique Cool Down: 6 posts T1 Technique information: Using his devil fruit powers, Vephist collects all kinds of debris, rocks and objects to enlarge his sword from the tip on forward. His blade extends several meters depending on the amount of debris around him, and also enlarges. T1 Technique Strengths: - Blade's reach is increased to a minimum of 5 meter for 1 post T1 Technique Weaknesses: - Slower swinging of the sword
- T2 Techniques:
T2 Technique Name: Impact // Hakugekishou - 迫撃掌 T2 Technique Type: Offensive T2 Technique Cool Down: 4 posts T2 Technique Information: Using his devil fruit powers in synergy with his swordsmanship, Vephist cuts the air and with that same motion he uses his devil fruit powers to lift the ground in the form of his blade. (Something like this) T2 Technique Strengths: - Allows for greater reach, unpredictable T2 Technique Weaknesses: - Most often the ground isn't sharp to cut his opponents _____________________________
T2 Technique Name: Talon Strike // Yousoukyaku - 鷹爪脚 T2 Technique Type: Offensive T2 Technique Cool Down: 5 posts T2 Technique Information: Talon Strike is technique in which the user delivers several thrusts against an opponent. Visually, due to the user's speed, it looks as if they are thrusting with several swords. Because of the high speed, Vephist creates a barrage of compressed air bullets that strike linear. T2 Technique Strengths: - Melee and Ranged T2 Technique Weaknesses: - The bullets are easily blocked by any type of metal
_____________________________
T2 Technique Name: Landslide // Rekigan Hakurakugeki - 礫岩迫落撃 T2 Technique Type: Offensive, Supplementary T2 Technique Cool Down: 8 posts T2 Technique Information: Vephist cuts the ground in a long straight line, and with his devil fruit powers he reverses the gravity pulling the ground upwards. He will create a small sized mountain with this, and due to the speed of the creation all debris, objects and people will fall down to the normal ground. T2 Technique Strengths: - Creates space T2 Technique Weaknesses: - If used during a fight, it will disturb the opponents' thought process and stability _____________________________
T2 Technique Name: Rising Phoenix - Hououtenku -鳳凰天駆 T2 Technique Type: Offensive T2 Technique Cool Down: 5 posts T2 Technique Information: A uppercut of the highest caliber from Vephist's arsenal, he puts all his strength into one strike that is capable of taking down nearly everything in it's path, creating a large crater below Vephist because of the force amassed and a long line of ravaged land whatever direction his uppercut went. T2 Technique Strengths: - Unblockable to T1, T2 and T3 T2 Technique Weaknesses: - Limited to a single target _____________________________
T2 Technique Name: Severing Wind // Dankuuken - 断空剣 T2 Technique Type: Offensive T2 Technique Cool Down: T2 Technique Information: [Picture] Using Dankukken, Vephist slices the air creating a ongoing circle with slashing winds that cuts through everything it passes. It doesn't leave large cuts, but small cuts almost everywhere if you get hit by the wind. The wind is visible as transparent, white fog-ish. T2 Technique Strengths: - Extremely powerful against creatures of flesh/blood T2 Technique Weaknesses: - No effect on hardened opponents, armament haki, cyborgs, armored etc.

| For 'Ken' we didn't see such potent thrusting abilities until Thriller Bark. That seems a bit too powerful a strike for a tier one. If you'd like to have an air blast which would be equivalent to a bullet in damage I could accept that.
I'm trying to get a handle on what you intend for 'Handle'. Is it for disarming or a weapon breaking technique? For weapon breaking we have have to be pretty careful with those techniques (lots of limitations to avoid being unfair to people's hard earned trinkets).
With 'Whip': it could not be equivalent to a Rankyaku at this point. If it was as damaging as one of you regular sword strikes (but given a much greater reach) that would be fine, but we were seeing some crazy crap from them CP9.
'Killshot' is pretty good, but I think you need a different weakness. One target is a limitation, but not so much a weakness. Perhaps he puts all his efforts into offense- if the attack is bunked up then he leaves himself wide open for retaliation (sacrifices defense?)
'Lantern' is fine, but with a minimum you should also include a maximum. Otherwise you could just count the whole world as debris and swing it instead (and I don't wanna fall of the planet!).
Tier 2
'Impact' is Earthbending, yeeeeaaah! I'm okay with this, but this should be kept quite straightforward (as we don't want it stretching into the territory of the Ishi Ishi no Mi :p) Also, might want to specify how far his influence can stretch with this.
How many is"several" with 'Talon Strikes'?
Maybe some dimensions for the mountain of 'Landslide'?
For Rising Phoenix, I would say the majority of this attack would go up as it is an uppercut. You mention a crater even though it is an upward attack? I am somewhat perplexed. Also, if it is limited to one target then it probably should not be such a long line of damage (otherwise it could easily encompass many people).
'Severing Wind' is cool, but please provide a cooldown.(or is it infiniiiiite??ooooo)
Wanna give it another go for me?
