| So, as we discovered in recent chapters of our dearly beloved One Piece, certain skilled users of select Devil Fruits are capable of 'awakening'. In these rare events, the user's abilities no longer apply only to themselves, but also to their surroundings. Now, I would say this could not apply to Zoan fruits, but select Paramecias (Doflamingo for example) and most Logias (Crocodile for example). Were we to implement this I would suggest that it not be available until tier IV (considering we've only just heard about it throughout the entire Grand Line). Also,I feel this particular category of ability would require some sort of test (and registrstration) to achieve, but that's just me. | |

| Well, actually zoan can also awake - Wiki wrote:
- For Zoan-class powers, awakening grants the users much larger transformations than other Zoan, while also gaining even more physical strength and durability, the latter contributing to a higher recovery rate. A side-effect appears to be their cutesy eyes and a snot hanging out of their nose, making them less intimidating than the true powers showcase. The Jailer Beasts of Impel Down are all awakened Zoan users.
But I agree this should be a requirement for some techniques

| OOOOOOH,I just got that! I went through the Impel Down arc and when Crocodile (think it was, maybe Jinbei) said they were 'awakened' users I just overlooked it, thinking they were fruit users who had activated their powers. See, when Doflamingo said it involved the extension of their powers to their surroundings I could only imagine buildings and things being turned into animals and that seemed downright silly XD That makes much more sense. Thank you! So, would the Zoan 'awakening' be more of a berserk form, do you think? | |

| I think it would xD, though, since I am a zoan user, I just ask one thing, please don't make awakening zoan have cutesy eyes and snot hanging from their nose, we have feelings :3 | |

| I think the Awakened Zoan's that we have seen so far are forced into awakening. We could compare it to performance enhancing drugs, or drugs in general. Using drugs you feel amazing but you end up looking in the mirror and seeing some kind of zombified version of yourself.
I think we should implement this, but with excessive grading so things won't be overpowered like a user with the Bomb Bomb Fruit turning everything around him into bombs resulting in a island-sized explosion.
