| Full Name: Kibo Yamanaka Alias/Epithet: N/A Age: 22 Gender: Male Race: Human Sexuality: Straight Origin: New World Affiliation: Revolutionary General Appearance: - Spoiler:
Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Black Skin Tone: Light Height: 5'5" Weight: 135lb Tattoo: N/A Personality: Kibo is a calm, quiet, respectful, and at times awkward person who isn't afraid to get the job done. When it comes to large groups, Kibo might have a hard time fitting in, and would rather keep to himself due to not really being good at certain social things, and would be either deep in thought, drawing, or observing the group. Just because he cannot really fit in doesn't mean he does not like this sort of stuff as he wishes to be around people who treats each other as friends, perhaps family. Kibo is known for being amazingly patient with most, as well as polite believing that keeping a calm mind will help in the most heated of situations. Even against his enemies, Kibo is know to still show a form of respect depending on where they stand, but he wouldn't hesitate to take them down if need be. Majority of that respect however goes to the Revolutionary, and those he considers close friends, and family as he is willing to die for them so long as it isn't something truly ridiculous. Not many things really get to Kibo, but one thing that really annoys him is another commenting him on being feminine, or being a woman. Even calling him cute falls under this category, but this stuff isn't anything he'd kill over. If anything, he will just fluster up, and deny it. During his off times, Kibo can either be found strolling about, drinking, his head in some books that could be just about anything since he isn't picky when it comes to subject. Though...he would very much prefer science fiction from time to time. Drawing might be his most favorite out of all of them however as he keeps a pencil, and notebook with him at all times for drawing whatever comes to mind, or if he finds something, or someone he would like to draw. As for the battlefield, Kibo's most preferable weapon is a katana due to his Wano, and samurai roots. He has learned a thing or two about swordsmanship from his father, and continued along with it when he became a Revolutionary. He wants to make sure that he could be useful to the faction that saved his life. Kibo is also a believer in honor, especially when it comes to one on one battles that he believes should never be interrupted unless absolutely necessary. He isn't too fond of those who don't show honor during battles. Personality Quirks: Kibo has a habit of bowing when introducing himself to others, whether it's friend or foe. Unique Laugh - Yaheheh Likes: Drawing, Peace, and being around people he finds enjoyable. Dislikes: World Government, those who look down on the weak, and being reminded of how feminine he looks. Motivations: Kibo wishes to make the world a better place, taking down the broken World Government along with slavery, but his ultimate goal is finding his sisters who is the only known family he may still have left alive. Fears: Finding out his sisters are dead, Being thrown back into slavery, Helplessly watching those he care about die Home Town: Wano Country Character History: - Spoiler:
Kibo grew up, and spent part of his childhood in the Wano Country. His parents were a strict, but meaningful samurai of a father, and his patient, kind mother who was a nurse. He also has two older twin sisters by two years who trained along side his father in the art of a samurai. Unlike his sisters who seemed only driven to be samurai, Kibo also assisted his mother when he needed to, though he never picked up any of his mother's medical skills. He just loved helping her the best he could Things were looking good for the family, and the future seemed promising.
Then it all came crumbling down one night...
Kibo, now at the age of eight woke up, and found his father decapitated by a man in black using the father's own katana while two accomplices stood back with flintlocks aimed at the cowering mother, and daughters. The thug holding the katana then walked up to the mother, and impaled the blade through her neck, killing her instantly as the daughters screamed. Attempting to be brave with tears in his eyes, and try to put a stop to this, Kibo dashed towards the thugs only to get shot in one of his knees, dropping him to the ground instantly. The last thing he saw before falling unconcious were his sisters getting pistol whipped.
Five Years later....
On an unmarked island located in the South Blue, Kibo became a slave, working in a mine on that island among other slaves ever since that night. Turned out those thugs were human traffickers assigned to kidnap younger people to sell off to buyers. These slavers who bought him belonged to a current Warlord at that time....those people that the World Government hire, and allow to do as they please while the so called bringers of justice looks away. A lot was on the thirteen year old's mind since that night, but these two things stuck out the most. Could his sisters still be alive, and will he ever get out of this hell. All seemed rather depressing, but there was one good thing about this, he made a friend. A fellow slave named Leo who was one year younger than him. He had a very cheerful, and immature personality despite the situation he was in. Kibo didn't even like him at first, but soon got over it. Leo was also responsible for Kibo's habit of drawing as a way to distract him from his worries. One day however, Leo finally got on the slaver's last nerves, and decided to end him instead of punishing. Once Kibo found out, he did all he could to take the blame instead of Leo. Due to barely causing any problems in the past, the slavers instead punished him with multiple lashes to the back, giving him that hideous scar he has today.
But not believing that was enough, the slavers took it further....
They knew of Kibo's friendship with Leo, and decided to bring him in, restrained, and with his mouth taped shut. One of the slavers then pressed a flintlock on the side of the cheerful slave's face. Knowing what was going to happen next, Kibo who was also restrained tried to struggle free to save his friend. Leo simply smiled at Kibo, trying to calm him despite the situation. Then, the trigger was pulled followed by Leo's body going limp. Kibo couldn't help, but cry after this as the slavers continued to lash him. He took all that abuse for what? For the only person he actually cared about on this island to die anyway? Kibo now with no hope simply just wanted to end it right there. Suddenly, the island was under attack by three large ships! Swarms of soldiers filled the island, and the mines, killing all the slavers, and freeing the slaves. The weakened Kibo looked on at all this as he barely could stand. It was as if angels rained down from the heavens, a miracle. There was one particular person that stood out the most to him. A guy with a katana strapped to his side that helped the barely standing Kibo up. Soon Kibo would learn that his saviors are part of some sort of Revolution who made it their mission to take down the World Government who just so happened to be responsible for the hell kibo had to go through, and the death of his parents. After all of this, and having no where else to go at this point, Kibo now inspired by those who saved his life, made it his goal to become a part of them, to join this Revolution in hopes that no one else would have to go through what he has due to that corrupted government. Years following this, Kibo has joined these people, and went through a lot of training which was very....agonizing compared to his father's. He has also continued on with his sword training with the very guy who was among those Revolutionaries that saved him on that day. Kibo has met people he considers to be close allies, or even friends, but still he cannot forget what happened to others he was close to such as his parents, and Leo.
Now at the age of twenty two, Kibo pretty much has his life together, and is a full fledged Revolutionary soldier. Though, the past still creeps up on him, and there is a question still remained unanswered.
