The Fragmented Axe

Name: Fragmented Axe
Owner: Mozana Gilthus
Type: A massive two headed war axe split into multiple pieces: A bladed shield and multiple sharp metal rods.
Class: C Class
Length: 15 feet long in its whole state. As fragments, the rods are each a foot long and the shield has a 3 foot diameter.
Weight: 100 pounds whole. The shield is ~25 pounds, and the rods are around 4 each; the remainder is the chain.
Description:When whole, the Fragmented Axe is a terrifying sight. The full axe stands almost three times as large as Athena is, comprised of a dark metal, and wickedly sharp. The entire polearm and blade are engraved with intricate details and patterns, allowing a skilled wielder to know how the pieces fit together at a touch or glance. When complete, it’s power is strong enough to cleave apart thick trees with a single slice, but only the strongest of humans who have trained with these oversized weapons for a long time can access the full power within.

When separated, the weapon has three parts. First is the blade itself, transformed to be a massive shield and chakram. It has straps, and a carved out handle near the edge of either blade, allowing it to be used either as a shield or as a bizarre bladed weapon. The second part are the metal rods, purposefully cut from the handle with jagged edges to be as painful as possible. Despite being the handle, they are more than thick enough to be used as a quarterstaff or javelin in their own right. The third aspect is a huge chain, that can link the rods together. It’s this chain that is used to bind together the separate parts of the weapon into a whole again, as well as help the small human manage such a huge weapon.


Strengths:
> Very versatile, with at least 4 modes of attack
> A very strange weapon; if an enemy gets ahold of it, their potential usage of it is dramatically lower than Mozana’s

Weaknesses:
> Mozana at this point cannot use its full potential. The fully built form is sealed, at least for combat purposes.
> If any part is missing, the full form cannot be completed.

When you use this weapon i do expect it to be slow because of the Heaviness. It will be an interesting weapon to witness.
