Personality:Synthia's personality could best be described as almost naively optimistic, seeing only the best in her fellow Marines but also in her view of the world as a whole: Believing that anything can be changed by sheer force of will and courage, rather than the often harsher realities of the world such as the cruelties her fellow Marines have performed and the equal ruthlessness which their counterparts, the Pirates, fight and act with.
As a result of this extremely hopeful view of the world, Synthia is often polarizing to those she meets; Either being immediately dismissed as childish due to her beliefs or as a hopeful young girl by some others.
When it comes to dealing with non-Marines and even Pirates, Synthia treats everyone in a very friendly manner upon their first meeting and attempts to show that she has no intention of unnecessarily fighting with another person - although if pushed enough she can and will fight back to protect herself or someone else.
When dealing with another Marine, Synthia attempts to be (especially to higher ranking individuals) as respectful as possible even if said individuals are initially rude to her. This is a result of the ingrained loyalty driven into her by an early indoctrination, which is perhaps the only part of the Marine structure of beliefs that truly stuck with the young girl up to this point.
Perhaps the most defining facet of her personality is Synthia's intense love for the arcane and 'magic', having styled herself after a mage of lore with her attire and carrying around a metal 'wand' in order to further this appearance. Whenever allotted time to do so, Synthia enjoys spending her free time reading or studying the arcane and freely speaks about her studies to anyone who will listen - often trying to convince others of her own 'magical' powers at the same time.
