Personality:
Cobalt in a word is loyal. Unflinchingly so. Being nothing more than a brute in his own right, it is rare that he completely understands the complexities of being a leader. Which is why he has never had aspirations to be one until his friend and confidant encouraged him to pick up the mantle in a serious capacity. As mentioned already, he is a brute. The kind of person who would break a person's arm for touching his friends without express permission being granted. In that way he is a guard dog for the crew, protecting them with his life without any wavering in his steadfast commitment towards them. It is his quick to violence way of thinking that makes him handy in a pinch. But he is also their leader, which doubles down on how seriously he takes his role as their protector and guardian. He is the kind of person who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, but he isn't excessive.

He is a person who acts first and thinks later. Which is strange since he is the leader of his crew, but it is tempered when it comes to his first-mate and her ability to keep him in check. Always eager to hop into the fray and cause some carnage, he likes to be as debased as any other person who would have the gall to call themselves a pirate. He enjoys spending time with his crew despite his unspoken desire for legitimate intimacy and companionship. All directed at the one person that he feels could never feel anything for him anyway. He defines himself through his actions, as he has no issue inflicting harm onto those who'd harm his allies. When it comes to finding out ways to cause individuals bodily harm, none seem to do it better than people who are sadistic. He is not a sadist by any means, but he knows a lot about anatomy. Since he spends so much time exploring the physical anatomy of a great deal of species either through combat or other, more entertaining, means.
