General Appearance: As one would expect of a Bear Beastman, Ambros stands taller than the vast majority of other beings. His body is large, broad-shouldered, and comprised almost entirely of muscle, born from his bear heritage and honed through constant hunting and battling in the Ferrian mountains and caves. Tribal tattoos, a symbol of his devotion to his God Gorrash, line his body. Thick black hair grows over most of his body, a shaggy reminder of his heritage that grows back almost immediately if cut; it keeps his tattoos out of view most of the time. His eyes are a dull blue, but glow with a predatory sheen when he hunts or fights. His armor is mostly fur and leather, sown together from the variety of beasts he hunted in the Ferria mountains. It is mostly ornamental rather than protective; Ambros prefers the range of movement and bare skin that a minimal amount of armor affords. The only true piece of armor he wears is his trademark steel helmet, robbed from a dead adventurer. He will attempt to bring his lack of clothes into every situation, but when he absolutely must wear clothes, he prefers green and brown overcoats. Generally, he employs an earthy color scheme at every opportunity.

Personality: As a disciple of Gorrash, Ambros is a worshipper of chaos and mayhem. He will throw himself into battles he should logically have no reason to partake in and slaughter people just because it is fun and engaging to him. To him, combat is the best way to express one’s ideals and personality, and he will often engage in deadly spars against anybody, ally or enemy, who he would like to know better. He is outwardly rough and brutal to those he considers enemies, and will not hesitate to decimate cannon fodder if need be.

Once you get past his initial brutality, however, you will find a man with a profound methodology of life and a unique perspective of the world. Ambros is a subscriber to the philosophy of Destruction as Change: Destruction causes change, and change is good, so destruction is a good and necessary part of the cycle of the world. Pain is a fundamental part of his mindset. To him, learning what causes somebody pain is the fastest and best way to learn about them; sharing pain, similarly, is the fastest way to bond with somebody. Every pain causes the victim to grow as a person, and as such, he goes out of his way to cause people and things pain. He sees himself as a harbinger of change, and ultimately a force of good in the world. If you can get him to sit and talk peacefully, he will expound upon these topics for hours.
Personality Quirks: Ambros is a sucker for good meat, and will gladly consume it at any rarity, from charred black to literally raw. He also has no sense of volume control when speaking, particularly in his manic mid-battle rampages.
